I Prefer Red

In Feng Shui the color red represents a plethora of meanings such as energy, fire, arousal, luck, love, happiness, romance, richness and luxury to name a few of the more desirable meanings. On the reverse though, if too much red is used, it can bring on restlessness, bursts of anger and over stimulation.

I have always been a fan of red, although I'm not positive it should be a color I choose for clothing. I've always been told I look better in greens and oranges.

While looking at all the colorful linky parties I contribute to such as Mellow Yellow Monday, Blue Monday & Pink Saturday I have suddenly realized that I have yet to show my true color. That being red.

My house is full of red, snippets of it everywhere, some on purpose, some by coincidence. Here are a few of my red items that represent the good side of Feng Shui..

This is a very small representation of the number of baseball caps in my collection. I have every color under the rainbow and yes, I do where them all!

This is one of my favorite chairs in my house, although Mr. Milo shares

it with me too.

At the moment I have some very pretty red flowers in my house that I've been fooling around with in Photoshop. My goal though is to grow more red flowers and foliage in my garden this year.

As I looked around for all the red, I realized I have more than can be said.. for example, I have a red dishpan, a red car, red dishes, bottles of red wine, red pj's, and much more red in my homestead!

As I end this red thread, I'll leave you with this poem to ponder on..

Blazing and bright.

A spot on your nose.

Red squiggles out when you cut your hand.
Red is a brick

The trimmings on

Red is a show-off,
