Let's Visit Illinois at 150!

I'm happy to have the "Land of Lincoln" state as my 150 Google follower !  Congratulations Annie of "Annie's Home"!

Annie hails from the great state of Illinois where the Purple Violet is the state flower. How appropriate as we'll soon be seeing plenty of them as we enter spring! Such a beautiful flower for a beautiful blogger..

Stop by Annie's super sweet blog as she has some fantastic recipes & tips to share..

What's all the sweetness about? Click on the gift and get a little sugar high..

Congratulations Annie!

  2. Congrats! Hope you are having a better weekend!
We still have snow. Didn't warm up like they said it would. Figures...

  3. Illinois... I use to live there. Again Leslie let me note the kindness you show by having these giveaways.

Thanks for commenting on my Friday Meme's. I am a school Photographer. Fall season is the hardest and longest, taking pictures for yearbooks. Spring is mainly grade school photos, that are more casual and just an extra option for families.

  4. Thank you Donnie - I so love seeing all your comments on all my posts.. :)

Tete - Thank you. Yes, I'm having a better weekend.. I have some sadness still lingering, but you'll find out about all that next week.. Weather is better too... Drove around town with my windows down.. OK, so my teeth were chattering alittle but that was OK.. :)

Vicki - Thank you for your kind words. You know, when I first started the "Gift for Every 10" my brother nicely commented on my Facebook page, "OH, you're down to bribery now". I took great offense to that and *kindly* told him where to go.. NO! Absolutely not.. my feelings are this.. I started my blog this past December and have been absolutely touched by how many have read, commented, given me hope, shown me better things, have inspired my crafty ways and most importantly have brought me back to the Leslie that I was years ago.. Somewhere along the years I lost who I really was and I have all of my followers and family to thank for bringing me back.. :)

  5. Hi Leslie; the blue pensees are marvelous. I plant every spring some in pots. I love their scent it always remains me of summertime in Switzerland.
    Well, then I am 151!
