Monsterous Storm Hits Tranquil Acres of Alexandria!
Yes! It's true!!
An odd, monsterous storm has hit
Tranquil Acres of Alexandria today!
As I type, the news reporters are setting up their camera's!
Dear Leslie, My husband spent the whole weekend cleaning snow and ice off the roof. He is exhausted and not liking the winter at all. We had back to back storms and we are still buried under it all. Good grief living in Mass is not easy.. This helped! Thanks for showing what it's all about. ~Shirley Counting the days till spring..
I didn't know you could hire people to clean off the roof. That's a great idea of course I have no problem in Florida though we do in NC. Heading back tomorrow. Take care.
Debby - Yes, two parts of our roof is flat and Mr. Snowman *dear hubby* was getting a little concerned..
Shirley - Here in NJ, it's not much different than in Mass.. in fact, they're predicting a whopper of a storm next week again.. There's so much snow one doesn't know where to put it all!
Lisa - lol... who me? Being suss???? Oh girlfriend, I can be sussy in a heartbeat! :P
Donnie - Actually, my husband runs a garden center and during the winter these guys snow plow over 70+ banks and commercial places.. thus the reason why I never see my husband when there's snow, ice, etc.. "remember the shoe makers family".. yes.. that's me.. the lone pioneer woman, but I just could not do the roof.. SO.. he brought home a few of his workers and they shoveled off the roof. I think today is the most I've seen my husband in over a month... what did we do? Well, he sat on the couch and snored after the guys were gone.. me.. well, I think you know the rest.. or you're reading the rest! LOL!
Cute post. That's a great idea getting the roof cleared off!
