More Than a Feeling

When you're a Sales Manager of a Garden Center that was recently recognized as one of the top 100 Garden Centers of the United States (as announced by Today's Garden Center Magazine) one has to realize that I am totally infatuated with plants, flowers, leaves, trunks, bark, color and basically everything that has to do with gardening, including composting!
Why you ask? Because gardening is a passion, it's seductive and rewarding amongst the many other benefits that one can only imagine. Pair up an obsessive gardener with a camera and here are the results..

Gardening is more than a feeling, it's a dedication, it's pure satisfaction, it's the love for nature and sends shivers up my spine. This warmer weather has my spirits high, my passion at its peek and my desire for dirt more determined!  With flowers like this, how can one not have more of a feeling for 'green'..

Do you have more than a feeling?

  6. Donnie & Lynn - Thank you! We are honored to have won this award..

Happier than a pig in mud - Yes, NJ was teased as well.. :( It was nice to have the windows open my office today..

Jil & Maia - I'm like your ordinary gardener.. I just share the passion that everyone else shares.. Getting my fingers in the soil, finding nature fascinating and gardening through trial and error.. Yes indeed it's hard work, but the rewards are plenty! :)

  7. Congratulations Leslie Sweetie...

Happy Pink Saturday sweet friend, and I have to tell you I too, love gardening. What a delight it is to work and toil that soil and water, fertilize and baby that plant or seedling, and one day see that piece, become a love of our life.

The sunshine just brings it to life, and we have such beauty in a corner of our lives. We love sharing that little piece of ourselves.

Gardening is just like having lots of children out there. They need to be fed and watered to grow and mature, and you become one. Yep, I have been there, and GO there each year when I add to the garden.

Your photography of your loves is SO exciting. I love seeing the center of that tulip. It is exquisite my friend.

I can't wait to see more. Now what can you teach me about tiff grass? Anything? Anything?

Have a gorgeous weekend sweetie. A beautiful share again. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

  9. I agree!
I'm not good in gardening (my sis does that) but I help water and clean the area. I talk to our plants and document them too! ;-)
