Shingle Creek Nature Walk
There's nothing like a nature walk right after breakfast..
You're not kidding Donnie... there were a couple of these up along the trail. I picked the path that showed the least resistance.. lol.. While the hubby was looking for cool birds, etc., I was looking down for gators and snakes! It was a great walk though as is heard through my husbands snores right now.. lol...
Bonnie & ONG - Glad you enjoyed the walk. It was fascinating. While I've been at this hotel before, I never knew they had this trail. After breakfast, we were just walking around and I saw the sign.. Said, "how bout it?" OK... We walked and walked and walked... it was really cool seeing all those birds and nature at it's untouched state.
Thanks for stopping by. Luv UR nature shots. Isn't it just wonderful how nature is. I just luv to play in the dirt....seems to rejuvenate me. Have a great day.
That's a beautiful place. Glad you didn't come across any predators. It have been so nice for you to walk around in a snow-free environment with the sunshine. Thanks for sharing this.
I like the smell of the steam from the iron as it moves over the spray starch, too. :)) I think we both need outdoor clotheslines so we can have that fresh, sunny smell on our clothes.
Shirley - Thank you! The sounds were just like what we heard.. Thus it was a perfect match...
Light & Voices - Yes, it was fun to go into their territory - fortunately I didn't see any of the riskier critters..
BJ- Funny, how we enjoy the same steamy starchy spray - I have a clothesline but unless I want my clothes to break while folding them off the line, I can't use it in 20 degree weather...
Lisa - You're so right.. I was thoroughly enjoying the snow free zone in Florida - Notice I wrote "was" because I'm on my way home... :(
Thanks everyone .. glad you liked the photo's.. it was a very pleasurable walk for sure.. Glad you shared it with me.
I love those bird pictures! It's nice to go out for a walk and breathe some fresh air! I love taking walks with my daughter... I'm visiting you from Wednesday blog. Visit me back at: www.maisonmarrakech2010.blogspot.com Thanks! Reina
Looks like a cool place to walk as long as the varmints stay where they belong. That sign would make me turn around and go back...lol...
