Lil' Bit of Luck..

In honor of St. Patricks Day, I'm posting this Lil' Bit of Luck post.. While I don't have a shred of Irish in me, I do love some things that are Irish, like:

- Corn Beef & Cabbage
- Baileys Irish Cream
- Irish Moss
- Irish Soda Bread
- Irish Beer

Today's post though is all about luck... Do you have a "Lucky Charm?"

Nope....lol...I am such a nonconventional soul. I believe my luck is in the blessings I have been given. Wasn't too lucky for the rabbit was it!

What a beautiful job this post is. I love all the good-luck charms. The horse shoe is SO delightful and I love the rabbits foot. I carry a blue one. Momma gave it to many years ago, and I have carried it every since.

I did find a four leaf clover many years ago...I kept it pressed in a book for a long time..hmmmm..I really can't remember what happened to it...

10 lemons, juiced, approx 1 cup of lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
4 cups water
8-10 strawberries, hulled
1/3 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup vodka (optional)

Directions:
Juice the lemons and transfer the juice into a large pitcher. Add the sugar and the water and stir to combine and dissolve the sugar. Add the strawberries and basil. Using an immersion blender, blend the mixture for about 20 seconds just until the mixture turns pink and the basil is finely chopped. Add alcohol if desired. Serve with lots of crushed ice.
